Who are they?

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) is a multilateral organisation that focuses on economic and social development in Asia and the Pacific. It provides financial aid, technical expertise, and policy advice to member countries for infrastructure, education, healthcare, and environmental sustainability. ADB’s mission is to reduce poverty, improve living standards, and foster inclusive growth in the region while promoting regional cooperation and addressing challenges like climate change and inequality.

What we did

Red k, as the lead visual communications consultant for the Development Effectiveness Review (DEfR) from 2019 to 2022, undertook the challenging task of distilling intricate insights into visually engaging and accessible formats. The Development Effectiveness Review, an annual report by ADB Management, assesses ADB’s progress in implementing its long-term strategic framework, Strategy 2030. This project involved meticulously dissecting complex narratives and data related to development effectiveness in Asia and transforming them into clear and compelling visual assets.

The entire process, from conceptualisation to execution, was carried out with meticulous attention to detail by Red k, showcasing their dedication to delivering impactful visual narratives. Each component, including report design, communication of complex narratives, creation of informative infographics, and development of user-friendly online web layouts for the data, was tailored to adhere to global brand standards and ensure effective communication of key insights. Red k’s expertise in creating highly communicative visuals played a crucial role in enhancing the understanding and accessibility of the Development Effectiveness Review findings, making them more engaging and relatable for diverse stakeholders. Through their comprehensive suite of services, Red k contributed significantly to amplifying the impact of the Asian Development Bank’s efforts in promoting development across Asia.
